All eyes have been on this fine and glorious state of Arizona ever since some important new bill was passed. I know the pundits have been making fun of us, calling us names, pointing out the flaws and and the extreme measures our state legislature and Governor have signed off on. Hell even boycotts have been thrown about, and man, it makes for some good reading/
tv watching, let me tell you. But brothers and sisters, cats and dogs, everyone has an opinion on this, it is polarizing, it turns foes into friends and loved ones into enemies, its really a divide and shift and is creating a politically charged environment.
The brain trust at the Rial Blog Big and Tall Shorts and Beach Wear Franchise have mixed emotions about this bill, and we shall explain. So strap your self in (on) and get ready for some hard hitting political real talk.
The Arizona state Senate on Thursday passed a bill making it illegal for a person to “intentionally or knowingly creating a human-animal hybrid.”
Two quick points pro and con:
Pro: FINALLY!
Con: WTF?
Let me expand:
PRO
We all know the elected officials in Arizona are of the up most breeding and education, I mean, look at Russel Pearce, a State Legislature representing Legislative District 18 (which covers most of western and central Mesa and small portions of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community) and his resume: the National Guard during the Vietnam War AND he rose to the position of Deputy Sheriff in Maricopa County. So some one who has reached the highest echelons of military and law enforcement really has a finger on the pulse of mythical creatures. He knows the effects human animal hybrids will have on our work force.
Hear me out, lets look at Minotaurs, creatures with the body of a man and the head of a bull. If the day labor work force were to suddenly be flooded with these abominations, imagine the effect. How could illegal aliens and poor white trash compete with a being with the dexterity and strength of a bull and the mind of a man. We do not need this, we need Home Depot parking lots not full of half man half bulls, but illegals so we know when to round them up every time the ratings of The Police Women of Maricopa County dip a little.
And what about centaurs? Can you imagine what effect the health care system would have if we had to start covering these horse in the rear and man in the front monsters? Hoof and Mouth disease rampid, and to not be crass, think abut the porn industry. Look, I don't think I need to get into the effects of harpies, mermen/maids, Satyrs, Anemoi, Sphinx, gigantes, nymphs, saggatarious, Shedu, Amunet or Chayots, because well, I am fairly certain the Govoner of Arizona Jan Brewer probally took a mythical creature class as part of the two year humanities program she didn't finish at Glendale Community College, so she has saved us the hard work and saved us from having to walk amongst animal human hybrids.
CON
Are we to start profiling people in this witch hunt for animal human hybrids? What about the people who have giant labyrinth's in there yards, is it to be assumed they are harboring a Minotaur? What is too much? How about feed shops? Are they to report there sell of hay? Is this NAZI Germany? Is this some kind o veiled search to find Mexican animal hybrids? What about aliens, what do they have to do with anything?
Forgot about the potential police state this bill will put us in, what about the hybrids? Mermaids sold on the black market into prostitution because there creator was scarred of getting caught! What if GOD creates a human animal hybrid; and really isn't everything done on earth done by him only thru a proxy? Are we to build a latter to the heavens to trial GOD for his crimes against Arizona? What about pillars of salt, how are they going to be factored into the equation, and why stop at human animal hybrids? What about spider-man, he is out there, should he be excluded because he is half man half arachnid? Where does this stop? What about animal animal hybrids? Unicorns, are they to be butchered and sold as dog food? Has anyone considered the chupacabras take on all this? What if he increases his goat murdering 10 fold in solidarity with nymphs! This is a slippery slope we tread, one that may end up in thieves guilds AND schools of magic teaming up and boycotting our state. Imagine an Arizona with out SWORD and Sorcery, PEOPLE! how do you think the sunsets? That shit doesn't just happen, its the work of Pegasus, a harem of witches and a fleet of angels....which are also human animal hybrids, think about the effect this will have on the guardian angel business....right!
